For the second time I finished 3rd in the overall IIDA world cup ranking.
Good feelings and plenty of confidence for me that year.
The season started with a very promising podium at the first IIDA world cup race of the season, in Koenigstetten, on the hills around Vienna, in early june.
I got another silver medal in the Italian national Championships in Teolo, PD (and 6th place in the WC race) and I for the first time I took part in a bobtrack race, in Sarajevo, BH.
The first RedBull Hotrun was a great experience, although painful because of a bad crash in the last qualification run. Definitely worth trying, though. I had the privilege to be invited by radbull to the race. Only 20 top riders in the world have been chosen.
Even the other world cup races have been funny and fruitful for me in 2007.
Good feelings, confidence and good physical conditions mean good results for me.
A 9th place on the legendary course that strated at the top of Col D'Izoard, FRA, a 13th place at the World Cup Finals in Lyon, FRA, on the new Montée de la Butte course and a disppointing 19th place at the FIRS world Championships in Albstadt, Ebingen, GER, did not lower the value of my second podium of the season, on the hills of Washingston State, USA.
